Maľba zachytáva priestor, ktorý pôsobí súčasne živý aj prázdny; stoličky, ktoré boli naplnené prítomnosťou, teraz stoja v tichu. Odrážajú, ako miesta uchovávajú spomienky ľudí potom, čo už tam nie sú, a vyjadruje paradox uvedomenia si, často až príliš neskoro, že prázdnota existuje len preto, že tu niekedy bol život.
